Springfield, MO – August 12, 2024 – Abacus CPAs has been a local staple in providing better tax and accounting guidance to the Springfield area for over two decades. To better reflect its growth and dedication to providing exceptional service, the firm announced a rebrand to Abacus! with new sub-brands Abacus CPAs, LLC and Abacus Business Consulting, LLC.
The firm is commonly known as “Abacus” in the Ozarks. Since its inception, Abacus! has been on a “first-name basis” with the community.
The new branding conveys the firm’s ongoing effort to ensure the highest level of service and the best possible experience for clients. By adding sub-brands, Abacus! has more opportunities to provide individualized experiences.
“The name Abacus CPAs, LLC was created in 2011 to better showcase our services. Now, moving forward with Abacus gives us even more flexibility to innovate our offered services and customized solutions for the community,” said Bill Dunton, managing partner and founder of Abacus!
The new branding is also an indication of the firm’s exceptional growth over the last several years. Abacus reached a 29.33% uptick in 2023, which has garnered national attention. The firm was named the No. 16 Fastest-Growing Firm in the United States by Accounting Today and a Fastest-Growing Firm by Inside Public Accounting. Abacus ranks No. 280 in the Inside Public Accounting’s Top Firms in the U.S. report and was named a Best of the Best Firm in 2023.
Additionally, the firm has multiplied across the U.S., with six offices in Missouri and Arkansas. Abacus also has locations in Pittston, Pennsylvania, and Salt Lake City, Utah.
While the firm continues to grow exponentially, Dunton ensures the community will still receive local attention.

Although “CPAs” will no longer appear in Abacus’ main branding, the firm will still offer CPA services under Abacus CPAs, LLC. Abacus Business Consulting, LLC increases Abacus’ capacity in consulting and advisory services.
