Abacus CPAs is eager to announce Ashlyn Ballard as the recipient of the 2024 Abacus Values Award for Client Service Orientation. Ashlyn is the Senior Coordinator of Marketing Excellence in the Department of Excellence.
Ashlyn is known for her drive to achieve. She understands what clients need and can make communication fun and engaging.
“I know the importance of clear, effective, and honest communication,” Ashlyn said. “Being in marketing allows me to utilize creativity in delivering results while remaining authentic in our messaging. It’s important to us and our clients that we operate with excellence.”
The Abacus Value Award for Client Service Orientation recognizes an employee who effectively communicates, leads with innovation, has a sense of urgency and produces quality work.
“I’m incredibly grateful to be recognized for my desire to elevate our staff and our projects. I have a high regard for what it means to deliver greatness to those around me,” she said.
Ashlyn looks forward to continuing to provide the abacus experience to clients and employees.
“I’m proud of what our team has accomplished over the past couple of years, and I am excited to set big goals with expectations of going above and beyond. We do whatever it takes to provide a great experience for anyone that interacts with the firm,” she said.
The Abacus Values Awards were created in 2020 to recognize individuals who fully exemplify Abacus Values in how they live, work and build relationships with clients and coworkers. Each recipient demonstrated exceptional understanding and achievement in client support and professional relationships.

Candice Alcantar, Client Support Supervisor in the Transportation Department, is the recipient of the Abacus Ownership Award which includes the attributes of Pride in Our Work, Desire to Succeed and Loyalty.
Christina Cooper, Coordinator in the IT Department, is the recipient of the Abacus Integrity Award which includes the attributes of Responsible, Trustworthy and Honest.
Ashlyn Ballard, Senior Marketing Coordinator in the Department of Excellence, is the recipient of the Abacus Client Service Orientation Award which includes the attributes of Effective Communication, Innovation, Sense of Urgency and Quality in Work.
Austin Bordovsky, Accountant in the Tax, Audit, & Accounting Department, is the recipient of the Abacus Positive Attitude Award which includes the attributes of Coachable, Cooperative and Believing the Intentions and Abilities of Others are Good.
