[Springfield, MO – July 20, 2021] – Abacus CPAs, LLC was recently recognized as a finalist for the Economic Impact Awards by Springfield Business Journal, which recognizes companies making a strong impact on the local economy. The firm was nominated as a top 3 finalist in the “companies operating 16 to 29 years category.” Rankings and results will be announced at an event held on July 29.
Abacus CPAs started in 1998 with five employees and $300,000 in revenue. Since then, the firm has grown revenue, locations, and in practice. The firm cited distinctive offerings that enhance Economic Impact in the award application, including creating and cultivating long-lasting client relationships, offering value-added employment opportunities, acting quickly and purposefully during this crisis year, and living the why of “People Deserve Better.”
“I’m proud of the growth and impact our firm has on the local and regional community,” shares Bill Dunton, managing partner. “We work to create an environment of growth, trust, and confidence for our clients and provide them calm in all situations, especially an unprecedented year like the one we just finished.
