Kathern Smith

Kathern Smith joined Abacus! in March 2023 and is a Senior Administrative Assistant Specialist for our Harrison office. Kathern is a dynamic and compassionate individual who, although originally from Oregon, has found a home in Arkansas for the past 12 years. A year and a half ago, she purchased a home in the charming town of Harrison, AR.

With a background in public service, Kathern previously worked as a Telecommunication Specialist (Dispatch) for the AR State Police, where she showcased her exceptional organizational and communication skills. Family is of utmost importance to Kathern, and she takes immense pride in being a loving mother to two children, Braden and Alissa.

However, her heart truly belongs to her two precious granddaughters, Wrenley and Oaklynn, who bring immeasurable joy to her life. During her leisure time, Kathern loves to craft, read, and spend quality time with family playing board games.
