Get to Know Andrew
Andrew Georgel joined Abacus! in November 2015 and serves as the Director of Accounting in the Louisville office. In his role, he leads the accounting team, manages client relationships, and provides client advisory services that support business growth and financial clarity.
Andrew earned his Bachelor’s degree in Finance from the University of Louisville and has been a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) since 2009. He is passionate about being a trusted advisor to clients and helping them achieve their goals through proactive guidance and strategic insight. His expertise and leadership were recognized when he was named one of Louisville Business First’s “20 People to Know in Accounting” for 2025.
Outside of work, Andrew enjoys spending time with his family, golfing, and attending music festivals and sporting events. What he loves most about Abacus! is the culture, where people are the focus, both in the way the firm serves clients and how it supports its employees.
