Get to Know Austin
Austin Bordovsky joined Abacus full-time in January 2023 after completing his internship with the firm in 2022. He currently serves as a Senior Accountant – Audit, where he works on highly technical engagements, reviews workpapers, manages projects and people, and oversees planning and completion of audit work.
Austin earned his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration in December 2023 and became a Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE) in May 2025. Having originally been part of Porterfield prior to its merger with Abacus in October 2022, he brings strong continuity and expertise to the team. He is passionate about fraud prevention, detection, and correction, and thrives on finding creative solutions to complex problems. In recognition of his positive mindset and leadership, Austin was honored with the 2024 Positive Attitude Value Award.
Outside of work, Austin enjoys cooking, reading, gardening, and spending time outdoors. What he loves most about Abacus is the ability to develop himself as quickly as he’s willing to grow, gaining experience and insights that can’t be found anywhere else, while serving clients he’s proud to support.
