Get to Know Lauren
Lauren Smith joined Abacus! in December 2023 as our Catalyst of Excellence within the Department of Excellence. In her role, she partners with employees on HR initiatives, Balanced Scorecard objectives, and Learning & Growth efforts.
Lauren holds a degree in Management & Leadership and HR Management, and since February 2025 she has been SHRM-CP certified. Her passion lies in helping others and serving as a trusted go-to resource for her team. In May 2025, she was recognized with the Abacus! People Focus Value Award for her dedication and impact.
Outside of work, Lauren enjoys playing with her dog, Ollie, crocheting, and spending time outdoors. At Abacus!, she especially values the opportunity to leverage her strengths, finding meaning both in her work and in the difference she makes for others.
