Get to Know Marissa
Marissa Snider joined Abacus! in July 2025 as an HR Administrative Assistant within the Department of Excellence. In her role, she manages day-to-day HR tasks including maintaining employee records, scheduling interviews, assisting with onboarding, and supporting recruitment and HR reporting. She also provides administrative support for the Balanced Scorecard team, coordinating calendars, scheduling meetings, editing documents, and keeping operations organized and efficient.Â
Marissa earned her Bachelor of Arts in Anthropology from Missouri State University. Before joining Abacus, she spent five years in retail management in Springfield, where she built strong skills in leadership and organization. She is passionate about protecting and nurturing company culture by fostering an environment rooted in growth, trust, and confidence, where people feel supported to reach their full potential.Â
Outside of work, Marissa enjoys spending time with friends and family, traveling to new places, baking, reading, and exploring new podcasts. At Abacus!, she values the people and culture most, appreciating the trust and growth-focused environment that makes her work feel meaningful.Â
