Mark joined Abacus! in December 2023 as the Learning & Compliance Coordinator. Originally from Cedar Rapids, IA, Mark’s journey includes stints in Austin, TX, KC, MO, Louisville, CO, and now Springfield.
Mark holds a Bachelors of Liberal Studies from the University of Iowa and has a diverse professional background. From a designer in marketing and sign companies to executive positions in large printing and fulfillment corporations, Mark also ventured into entrepreneurship, owning a senior moving and estate sale business. His career path further extends into roles as a career coach and executive and management training leader.
Beyond the professional realm, Mark’s engaged to an amazing person who brought him to Springfield, and he is a proud parent of three children and a granddaughter, spanning from NY to CO. Mark’s hobbies include hiking, skiing, playing board games, and finding joy in laughter.
