Get to Know Melina
Melina Patterson joined Abacus! in January 2016 as a Senior Coordinator in Payroll and Advisory Services. Based in our Kentucky office, she manages payroll processes and partners with the CAS team to deliver advisory services that support client success.
Melina holds a Master of Arts in Management and Leadership from Liberty University and a Bachelor of Arts in Social Sciences from Morehead State University. She is passionate about helping businesses understand their financial picture and use that insight to grow sustainably. She also thrives on improving processes, whether through automation, better systems, or streamlined workflows, finding ways to save time, reduce errors, and create smoother operations that benefit the entire team.
In recognition of her expertise, Melina was named one of Louisville’s Top People to Know in Accounting. Outside of work, she enjoys floral arranging, gardening, and traveling. What she values most about Abacus is the people she gets to work alongside each day.
