Abacus! is excited to announce Zoe Keeland as a recipient of the 2025 Abacus Values Award for People Focus. Zoe is a Senior Client Support Specialist in Transportation Customer Service.
Zoe is terrific at stepping into tough situations and concocting daring solutions, making the seemingly impossible, possible. She leads the way out of dilemmas while blazing uncharted trails and improvising inventions until she gets them working.
“I truly believe that people deserve better—and they do better when I treat them that way,” Zoe said. “I benefit from better quality work by my colleagues, stronger relationships with our clients, and I often find that same help and support comes back to me when I need it.”
The Abacus Values Award for People Focus recognizes an employee who displays effective communication, respect, compassion, and cooperation. Zoe’s dedication to providing the Abacus Experience to both clients and employees is a key reason she earned this award.
After receiving the award, Zoe said, “I got about halfway through the description before I realized it was me! It was a little disorienting to have so many nice things said about me in front of so many people! It made me happy to hear that so many people have valued and benefited from my help.”
Zoe is excited to continue being part of—and helping to further build—the Abacus! culture of supporting others and helping them succeed.
Zoe said, “If I know who they are, where they are, and where they’re going—I can help them take the next best step in that direction. Then they’re off and running again!”
The Abacus Values Awards were created in 2020 to recognize individuals who fully exemplify Abacus Values in how they live, work and build relationships with clients and coworkers. Each recipient demonstrated exceptional understanding and achievement in client support and professional relationships.

Matthew Weekley, Senior Associate in the Transportation Accounting Group, is a recipient of the Abacus Integrity Award which includes the attributes of Responsible, Trustworthy and Honest.
Nathan MacLaughlin, Senior Accountant in Traditional Tax and Accounting Services, is the recipient of the Abacus Integrity Award which includes the attributes of Responsible, Trustworthy and Honest.
Carisa Perkins, Senior Client Support Specialist in the Transportation Customer Service Department, is a recipient of the Abacus Client Service Orientation Award which includes the attributes of Effective Communication, Innovation, Sense of Urgency and Quality in Work.
Camryn Ramsey, Senior Coordinator in Accounting Services, is a recipient of the Abacus Client Service Orientation Award which includes the attributes of Effective Communication, Innovation, Sense of Urgency and Quality in Work.
Abi Braun, CPA, Senior Accountant, is a recipient of the Abacus Positive Attitude Award which includes the attributes of Coachable, Cooperative and Believing the Intentions and Abilities of Others are Good.
