Abacus!, is excited to announce Carisa Perkins as a recipient of the 2025 Abacus Values Award for Client Service Orientation. Carisa is a Senior Client Support Specialist in the Transportation Customer Service Department.

Carisa is excellent in situations that require strategic organization of information. She sets priorities and puts them into appropriate sequences. Her talent with both strategies and tactics makes her essential to any massive effort.

“I truly believe that our clients deserve the best service I can provide,” Carisa said. “I also believe that honesty is key when facing difficult situations, and that offering realistic solutions benefits them the most.”

The Abacus Values Award for Client Service Orientation recognizes an employee who effectively communicates, leads with innovation, has a sense of urgency, and produces quality work. Carisa’s passion for bettering the people around her is a characteristic her team values.

“When I learned I had received this award, I felt humbled. I love what I do and the purpose behind why I do it. I’m grateful for the clients who make my job easier, as well as for the challenges I face with others,” Carisa said.

Motivated moving forward, Carisa shared, “I will continue to strive to give my all and listen intently when a client is discussing what they hope to achieve.”
She added, “I’m grateful to be recognized for what I work so hard to provide to all of our clients.”

The Abacus Values Awards were created in 2020 to recognize individuals who fully exemplify Abacus Values in how they live, work and build relationships with clients and coworkers. Each recipient demonstrated exceptional understanding and achievement in client support and professional relationships.

Stacy Mathews, Senior Accountant in Traditional Tax and Accounting Services, is a recipient of the Abacus Ownership Award which includes the attributes of Pride in Our Work, Desire to Succeed and Loyalty.
Matthew Weekley, Senior Associate in the Transportation Accounting Group, is a recipient of the Abacus Integrity Award which includes the attributes of Responsible, Trustworthy and Honest.
Nathan MacLaughlin, Senior Accountant in Traditional Tax and Accounting Services, is the recipient of the Abacus Integrity Award which includes the attributes of Responsible, Trustworthy and Honest.
