Abacus CPAs is pleased to announce Madison McPherson’s promotion from intern to analyst. Madison worked as an intern for nearly two years before becoming an analyst.
Madison, a distinguished graduate with a bachelor’s degree in accounting from the College of the Ozarks in December 2023, received recognition for her exceptional achievements during her college years. In college, she was awarded the Barrett E. Gourley Memorial Work Scholarship for Excellence in Accounting, which honors two students showing excellence in the accounting major and classes.
“In the past two years, I’ve had the privilege of working in the accounting world at Abacus. The experience has been invaluable, and I’ve learned what it takes to go above and beyond in accounting,” Madison said.
Madison will continue to specialize in tax projects. As she takes on this new chapter in her career, Madison envisions shaping her professional career at Abacus, focusing on developing her career in tax.
“I plan to make a fulfilling career at Abacus, and I’m excited to continue to grow my knowledge in tax,” Madison said.
